Dubai: Dubai Press Club announced on Sunday that a UAE media delegation will visit Kuwait, aimed at strengthening media cooperation and exchanging expertise between media institutions in the two countries.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Dubai Government Media Office stated that the visit aligns with directives from UAE President Sheikh Mohamad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan to honor the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the UAE and Kuwait. The visit will feature the "UAE-Kuwaiti Media Ceremony," which will be attended by Kuwait's Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi.
The UAE delegation will include more than 100 prominent media figures, encompassing media leaders, artists, producers, heads of media and press institutions, editors-in-chief of newspapers, writers, journalists, content creators, and influencers. The events will also involve participation from a select group of Kuwaiti media leaders, journalists, writers, thinkers, and opinion-makers.
The statement detailed that the visit's program includes the UAE-Kuwaiti Media Ceremony, a series of activities, professional meetings, and field visits to various Kuwaiti media organizations. Additionally, there will be discussion sessions to highlight best media practices and explore future media cooperation between the two countries.
