Kuwait City: The Representative of His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who is also the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, met with Singapore's Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Lawrence Wong. The discussions took place on the sidelines of the Second GCC-ASEAN Summit and the GCC-ASEAN-China Summit.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the two leaders focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Singapore. They also discussed significant regional and international issues that concern both nations. The commitment to enhancing cooperation and exploring new avenues for collaboration was a key part of their dialogue.
The meeting saw the participation of several high-ranking officials from Kuwait, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary at the Crown Prince Diwan Mazen Issa Al-Essa, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Foreign Minister's Office Ambassador Bader Saleh Al-Tunaib, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Ambassador Sameeh Johar Hayat, and Kuwait Ambassador to Malaysia, Rashed Mohammad Al-Saleh. Their presence underscored the importance of the discussions and the intent to bolster diplomatic and economic ties between Kuwait and Singapore.
