Sharm el-sheikh: Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the accompanying delegation arrived in Egypt at the head of the Kuwaiti delegation of the State of Kuwait participating in the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit. Upon arrival, His Highness was received by Egypt’s Minister of Civil Aviation Dr. Samih Ahmed Al-Hefny, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Egypt Ghanem Al-Ghanem, and members of the Kuwaiti embassy.
According to Kuwait News Agency, His Highness the Prime Minister emphasized the significance of the summit in ensuring the implementation of the peace deal aimed at ending the war in the Gaza Strip and alleviating the humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people. His Highness praised the regional and international efforts led by friendly and brotherly nations, which resulted in the agreement on a ceasefire.
His Highness the Prime Minister expressed hope that the summit would facilitate a political process that leads to a just and comprehensive peace. He reaffirmed Kuwait’s consistent position in supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state. He added that achieving a just and lasting peace requires genuine will, constructive dialogue, and mutual respect among all parties.
