Kuwait city: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a letter from King Hamad bin Esa Al-Khalifah of Bahrain inviting him to participate in the 46th regular session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), scheduled for Wednesday, December 3.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the invitation was delivered to His Highness at Bayan Palace by Bahraini Ambassador Salah Ali Al-Maleki. Several key officials were present during the handover, including the Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Sabah, the director of His Highness the Amir's office retired Lieutenant General Jamal Al-Theyab, Amiri Diwan undersecretary Sheikh Abdulaziz Meshal Al-Sabah, and Amiri Diwan undersecretary for foreign affairs Mazen Al-Essa.
