Kuwait city: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, along with His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, received the President of UAE Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and his accompanying delegation.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the reception focused on strengthening the bilateral ties between Kuwait and the UAE. Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation frameworks to serve their mutual interests, particularly in the economic and development sectors.
The Amir and Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed also expressed their support for initiatives aimed at establishing comprehensive and just peace based on the two-state solution and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to ensure security and stability in the region. They highlighted the necessity of ongoing international efforts to recognize the Palestinian state to fulfill the aspirations of the Palestinian people. Additionally, the meeting addressed vital issues of common interest among the Gulf countries.
