Kuwait City: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah patronized and attended the 2023-24 graduation ceremony for the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET), honoring excelling students. The event, held at PAAET's new auditorium in Shuwaikh, was attended by prominent figures including His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, alongside families of the graduates.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Nader Al-Jalal expressed deep gratitude to His Highness the Amir for his presence, highlighting the positive impact on the graduates. Dr. Al-Jalal emphasized the leadership's commitment to fostering national talent and the responsibility of graduates to contribute to Kuwait's progress. He also underscored PAAET's role in enhancing the job market and state institutions through quality academic services.
PAAET Director General Dr. Hassan Al-Fajjam echoed similar sentiments, praising the leadership's support. He outlined PAAET's mission to advance national development by equipping students with the necessary skills for the job market and higher education. Dr. Al-Fajjam mentioned ongoing efforts in governance and digitization to improve academic offerings and support research initiatives, aligning with Kuwait's development goals.
During the ceremony, graduate representative Sara Ali Ramadan pledged on behalf of her peers to serve the nation with dedication. The graduates expressed their determination to excel, driven by a desire to contribute to their country's growth. His Highness the Amir was presented with a souvenir and departed after the ceremony.
