— His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday sent a cable to Chinese President Xi Jinping, congratulating him on the successful 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and his re-election as chairman of the Party Central Committee for a third term in office.
In the cable, His Highness the Amir commended prominent achievements made by China during Xi’s tenure in various fields, hailing continuously developed historical and firm relations between Kuwait and China under their strategic partnership.
His Highness the Amir also wished the Chinese president good health and well-being, further progress and prosperity for China and more development for bilateral distinguished and firm relations between both friendly countries.
