The prices of Basra Heavy and Medium crude oil recorded an increase in conjunction with the rise in oil prices in global markets.
The prices of Basra Heavy crude rose by 52 cents to reach $84.24, and the prices of Basra Medium crude rose by 52 cents to reach $87.44.
Global oil prices rose, continuing their gains in the previous session after industry data showed a sudden drop in US crude inventories last week, an indication of increased demand and a shift in attention away from hostilities in the Middle East./End
