Muscat: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation arrived Tuesday in the Sultanate of Oman for a fraternal visit. Upon arrival, they were warmly received by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, along with several key officials including Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said and Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the reception also included Minister of the Royal Office Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, and Chief of the Special Office Dr. Hamad bin Said Al-Awfi. The Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi and Minister of Energy and Minerals Eng. Salem bin Nasser Al-Awfi were also present, along with Kuwait's Ambassador to the Sultanate Dr. Mohammad Al-Hajri.
His Highness the Amir was accompanied by several prominent figures, including Defense Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Dr. Sheikh Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Also part of the delegation were the Chief of His Highness the Amir's Office Retired Lieutenant General Jamal Theyab and Deputy Chairman and CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah. Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) Sheikh Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah was also in attendance.
