Kremlin: Russian Energy Week ’25 Deals to Boost Energy Sector, Partnerships

Moscow: The Kremlin announced that the agreements and understandings anticipated during the Russian Energy Week 2025 Forum are expected to enhance Russia's fuel and energy complex and strengthen international partnerships, benefiting countries and their populations.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kremlin conveyed that Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a greeting message to the participants and guests of the forum, scheduled to take place in Moscow from October 15 to 17. In his message, President Putin highlighted the significance of this international gathering, which will unite representatives from the business community, academia, politics, and experts globally to address current challenges in the global fuel and energy sector.

President Putin emphasized that modern energy represents a dynamic, high-tech industry requiring the latest industrial and scientific advancements. He urged discussions to focus on essential practical issues, such as introducing cutting-edge equipment and digital solutions in the electricity, oil, gas, and coal sectors, as well as supporting the energy transition in national economies.

The Kremlin's statement further indicated that leading Russian and international companies in the manufacturing and services sectors will display their achievements, final products, and flagship projects during the forum. This will aid in enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise among nations.

President Putin expressed confidence that the active involvement of delegates in plenary sessions will bolster efforts to develop the fuel and energy sector and fortify international partnerships based on mutual benefit. The Kremlin also noted that in a meeting on October 4, focused on advancing the energy sector, Putin underscored the importance of ensuring sustainable gas supplies to the Russian Far East, considering the projected increase in natural gas demand in the coming years.
