Kuwait Airways Earns Prestigious 5-Star Rating for Top Services

Kuwait city: Kuwait Airways has been awarded the 2026 5-Star Airline Rating for its exceptional passenger on-board services by the APEX organization, based on objective opinions from passengers worldwide.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the corporation's chairman, Abdulmohsen Al-Fegaan, stated that achieving this rating was the result of the staff's dedication and the high-quality services and comfort provided to passengers. The rating was derived from neutral views of passengers on more than one million flights from 600 airline companies globally. The assessment focused on passengers' experiences during the flight, including visual entertainment programs, food quality, and other services.

Earlier this year, Kuwait Airways was ranked 20th among 109 aviation companies and fifth in the Middle East in the annual report released by Airhelp, covering 2024. Al-Fegaan noted that the airline earned the top rank globally for providing high-quality onboard meals according to MoneySuperMarket last year. It also secured the second position in the Middle East for flight schedule punctuality, showing significant development and positive results as reported by Cirium, a leading aviation data and analytics company.

The corporation is committed to enhancing its services, upgrading operating systems, and achieving complete client satisfaction. Al-Fegaan elaborated that the company received an invitation from APEX to attend the honoring ceremony for aviation companies in California, US, where the acting chief executive officer, Abdulwahab Al-Shatti, accepted the award.

Kuwait Airways, founded in 1953, organized its first flight on March 16, 1954, and the government acquired all its shares in 1962.
