KUNA Media Development Center Launches 20th Training Program for Aspiring Journalists

Kuwait city: The KUNA Center for Media Development has initiated the 20th edition of its training program, specifically designed for new journalists. This program, which commenced on Sunday, will continue until September 25 and is conducted by a team of specialized lecturers focusing on distinct journalistic disciplines.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the training agenda encompasses a range of fundamental topics crucial for journalism. These include news writing and editing, language skills, modern technology, and media photography. Participants will delve into the basics of news writing and editing, exploring the types, characteristics, components, and sources of news, alongside various formats and writing styles.

The program also features key sessions on "Linguistic Skills for Media Professionals," "Artificial Intelligence in Media," and "Principles of Photography and Videography." Established in December 1995, the KUNA Center for Media Development is recognized as one of Kuwait's premier media training institutions. It has hosted numerous training programs across different media fields, striving to enhance both the personal and professional skills of media professionals and contribute to the progress of journalism in the country.
