Kuwait city: The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) Center for the Development of Media has successfully concluded its 20th basic program for new journalists. The program, which commenced on September 7, featured lectures from specialists across various journalistic fields.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the program's schedule included lessons on news writing, linguistic skills, the application of artificial intelligence, and photography. Participants learned about different types of news items, their features, contents, sources, forms, and the fundamental elements of writing news and headlines. Lectures also addressed summarization and common mistakes in journalism.
In addition to traditional journalistic skills, the course incorporated the use of AI in creating logos, making pictures, and understanding the principles of photography and video production. It also covered lighting skills, types of lenses, and their effects. The KUNA Center for the Development of Media, established in 1995, aims to enhance the journalistic skills of news personnel.
