KSrelief Facilitates Medical Treatment for Palestinian Child with Lymphatic Tumor

Amman: In a humanitarian gesture embodying the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's deep-rooted values of compassion and generosity in extending assistance to those afflicted by illness, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continues to stand by patients from the most vulnerable groups. In this context, KSrelief sponsored the treatment of Yazan Sami Nasman, a Palestinian child arriving in Jordan from the Gaza Strip, aged nine, who is suffering from a tumor of the lymphatic system.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this intervention came following a deterioration in the child's health condition, as medical reports indicated his need for advanced treatment protocols and specialized, intensive care that could not be provided within the Gaza Strip due to the significant challenges facing the healthcare system there. After coordination through official channels, the child was transferred to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to receive treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center. He is currently undergoing continuous medical follow-up and precise periodic examinations to assess his response to treatment under the supervision of a specialized medical team in pediatric lymphatic system tumors, contributing to controlling his health condition and reducing any potential complications.

KSrelief signed a cooperation agreement in 2024 with the King Hussein Cancer Center to treat cancer patients from the Gaza Strip to save as many as possible who have been deprived of treatment opportunities due to the difficult health conditions in Gaza. The effort is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's ongoing humanitarian and medical endeavors, carried out through KSrelief, to provide essential healthcare to people in need and those affected worldwide.
