KRCS Commends ICRC for Its Humanitarian Initiatives


Kuwait City: Chairperson of Kuwait Red Crescent Society Ambassador Khaled Al-Maghames on Monday praised the humanitarian efforts made by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in helping people in need. This commendation was expressed in a statement for KUNA following Al-Maghames’ meeting with ICRC-GCC head Mamadou Sow.



According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting covered various aspects of collaboration, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties and cooperation in humanitarian aid. Discussions centered on enhancing these relations to better address the needs of vulnerable populations worldwide.



A presentation was also delivered during the meeting, showcasing Kuwaiti efforts in extending aid to regions including Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, and Sudan. This presentation highlighted the commitment of Kuwait in providing essential support to these areas.



Mamadou Sow, representing the ICRC, reciprocated the praise by acknowledging the Kuwait Red Crescent Society’s efforts. He noted the effective collaboration between KRCS and ICRC in pursuing shared humanitarian goals and improving living conditions for people in need across different regions globally.
