KPC Explores Technology and AI Impact on Innovation at CERAWeek Conference

Kuwait City: Kuwait Oil Corporation (KPC) continues to participate in Houston's CERAWeek conference to engage in discussions on challenges and opportunities amidst global economic changes. In a statement on Thursday, KPC highlighted the involvement of its executives in various sessions focusing on technology and innovation in the energy sector.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Shaima Al-Ghunaim, Executive Vice President of Planning and Finance at KPC, took part in a panel discussion that centered on the role of technology and innovation in empowering women within the energy sector. Meanwhile, Abdullah Al-Afasi, KPC's Deputy Managing Director for Planning, participated in a session addressing the role of artificial intelligence in promoting creativity and excellence in the oil sector.

Al-Afasi emphasized KPC's efforts to adopt the latest technologies and enhance operational capacity and sustainability. The participation of KPC in the conference, which is set to conclude on Friday, underscores its commitment to exchanging expertise and visions with leading companies in the field and strengthening relations with partners.

The delegation from KPC was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Board and CEO, Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, reflecting the corporation's strategic focus on innovation and collaboration.
