Kuwait City: Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) announced that its emergency teams have successfully extinguished a limited fire at the desulfurization unit of the Mina Abdullah Refinery. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, resulted in the loss of one worker and injuries to four others.
According to Kuwait News Agency, KNPC shared in a press release on its X account that of the four injured workers, two required hospitalization for medical treatment, while the other two received treatment at the site of the incident. The company did not provide further details on the cause of the fire or the condition of the injured workers.
