Paris: Undersecretary of the Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Lit Gen. Hamad Al-Barjas and his accompanying delegation are set to participate in a meeting of the International Association of Gendarmeries and Police Forces with Military Status (FIEP).
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting, held under the French presidency, will focus on the impacts and challenges posed by artificial intelligence on gendarmeries. This topic is of significant interest to the international security community, as AI continues to influence various aspects of law enforcement and military operations.
The KNG joined the FIEP in 2019, marking a significant step in its efforts to enhance international cooperation. The FIEP, which includes both Arab and foreign countries, seeks to strengthen coordination and cooperation among its members. It facilitates the sharing of expertise in areas such as security, counterterrorism, and crisis management, providing a platform for member countries to collaborate on common challenges.
