Kuwait city: Kuwait Dental Association (KDA) President Dr. Saad Al-Shammari affirmed the importance of partaking in medical conferences to enhance the scientific experience of dentists. Al-Shammari, also assistant secretary-general for organizational affairs in the GCC states at the Arab Dental Federation (ADF), made the statement to KUNA on the sidelines of the participation of the 32nd Beirut International Dental Conference (BIDM).
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Shammari emphasized KDA's commitment to participating in the congress and its associated exhibition to share knowledge and stay informed about updates in various fields. He noted that the Kuwaiti association is actively working on social, professional, and educational fronts. Kuwait is set to host the second KDA national conference on November 20, which will feature only Kuwaiti lecturers to support domestic scientific talent.
Speaking to KUNA, ADF secretary general and head of Oman Dental Society Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Ezri highlighted the significance of participating in medical and scientific conferences for fostering communication and cooperation among different syndicates. He mentioned that attending such conferences enables dentists to keep up with rapid developments in certain fields.
Dr. Al-Ezri pointed out that the Arab region possesses substantial medical scientific competencies and expertise that should be utilized to advance dental services, as well as in education, training, and research. The conference is hosting 140 lecturers from 20 Arab and Western countries to spotlight the latest medical expertise in the dental field.
