Kuwait: Kuwait Boy Scouts Association (KBA)’s scout conference titled, “For Whom, Why, and To Where?” kicked off on Sunday, under the patronage of the Minister of Education Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, and attended by 200 Arab and international scouts. The conference will continue until October 21.
According to Kuwait News Agency, in his opening remarks, Dr. Abdullah Al-Taraji, Chairman of KBA, welcomed everyone to the event, which coincides with the association’s 70th anniversary celebrations. He emphasized the shared goals embraced by scouts and educators, highlighting the belief in the youth’s potential to shape the future.
Al-Taraji expressed gratitude to Kuwait’s political leadership and supporting entities for their encouragement, which has enabled the scouting movement to grow. The opening ceremony included moments dedicated to honoring figures who have played a significant role in advancing scouting over the years.
The scout conference will run until October 21.
