Kuwait City: Kuwait Awqaf Public Foundation (KAPF) announced on Wednesday the signing of an agreement with the Kuwait Ministry of Islamic Affairs to develop a project focused on providing telephone and electronic fatwas.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Acting Secretary General of KAPF, Naser Al-Hamad, stated that the agreement aims to facilitate access to accurate fatwas in response to the growing need for reliable legal guidance amid digital transformations. He emphasized that the project supports modern means of delivering legal fatwas in a manner that is easily accessible to all segments of society, enhancing the authority of fatwas through their official source, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
