Kuwait City: Iran confirmed on Wednesday that Maj. Gen. Ali Shadmani, who served as the commander of the Khatam Al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, died of wounds he had sustained in Israeli occupation airstrikes last week. "General Ali Shadmani died after sustaining injuries in Israeli occupation strikes last week," the headquarters said in a press release.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Shadmani was named as commander of the headquarters on June 13 after Israeli occupation airstrikes reportedly killed a number of top Iranian commanders, including his predecessor, Lt. Gen. Gholam Ali Rashid.
US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that Iran and the Israeli occupation had agreed to a "complete and total ceasefire". This development comes amidst ongoing tensions and conflict in the region, marking a significant moment in the diplomatic relations between the two entities.
