Jordan Reopens Airspace Following Temporary Closure

Kuwait City: Jordanian authorities announced Saturday the reopening of airspace after a temporary closure due to an escalation in the region. National News Agency (PETRA) reported on behalf of the chief of commissioners of the Jordanian civil aviation regulatory commission, Captain Haitham Misto, that the airspace will be reopened at 7:30 a.m. local time.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the decision to reopen the airspace comes after a careful assessment of the situation in the region. The temporary closure was initially implemented as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of flights operating in and out of Jordan.

The reopening of the airspace is expected to resume normal flight operations, minimizing disruptions to travel plans and maintaining the flow of goods and passengers. The Jordanian civil aviation authorities have reassured airlines and travelers that they are closely monitoring the situation to respond swiftly to any further developments.
