Jeddah: Japan beat China 4-0 in the final of the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, retaining the title for the second consecutive time. Yuto Ozeki scored the opener in the 12th minute, while Kosei Ogura gave his team a two-goal lead in the 20th minute. Ryunosuke Sato and Ogura scored the third and fourth goals in the 59th and 76th minutes respectively.

According to Kuwait News Agency, this victory marks the third time Japan has won the title in the history of the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup, which kicked off on January 6. The triumph underscores Japan's continuing dominance in the tournament, having successfully defended their championship title.
