Italian President Sergio Mattarella affirmed: “Stability in Iraq will stimulate Italian companies to invest in it.”
He said in a joint press conference with the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, in the Italian capital, Rome: “There is an intention to diversify and expand economic cooperation with Iraq.”
For his part, President Abdul Latif Rashid affirmed Iraq’s keenness to move forward in constructive cooperation with Italy.
The president said: “Our dialogue with the Italian president focused on developing joint action.”
He added: “We need pioneering expertise in the field of construction, development and investment.”
