Israeli Occupation Strike in Rafah Claims 27 Palestinian Lives

Rafah: An Israeli occupation strike on Tuesday claimed the lives of 27 Palestinians near an aid distribution point west of Rafah, in southern Gaza, leaving 90 others injured, as reported by local health authorities. The incident occurred in the Al-Alam area, where civilians had gathered to receive humanitarian aid.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the health authorities stated that the attack resulted in several people sustaining critical injuries. The site targeted was among several locations designated for distributing aid to civilians, a process that has recently faced significant criticism.

Local authorities, along with international humanitarian organizations, have condemned the current distribution mechanism, which is overseen by the Israeli occupation in central and southern Gaza. They have called for the reopening of border crossings and urged United Nations agencies to take over aid distribution to ensure the safety of civilians and adherence to humanitarian standards.
