Israeli Occupation Returns Bodies of 15 Palestinians Through ICRC

Gaza: Health authorities in Gaza announced Monday that they received the bodies of 15 Palestinians held by the Israeli occupation through the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). In a press statement, the ministry stated that the ICRC delivered the bodies to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The exchange of bodies was carried out as part of the ceasefire agreement.

According to Kuwait News Agency, this recent handover increases the total number of bodies returned by the Israeli occupation since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 to 415 bodies. The health authorities have indicated that due to decomposition, most of the bodies are being laid to rest in a central cemetery in Gaza, as their identities remain undetermined. Despite repeated appeals from international organizations, the Israeli occupation continues to withhold the names of the deceased.
