Quneitra: One person was killed in an Israeli occupation strike on his home in the village of Taranja, located in the northern Quneitra countryside. This attack followed recent operations by occupation forces on Tuesday.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Syrian Foreign Ministry has expressed strong condemnation of the attacks and incursions carried out by Israeli occupation forces. The ministry criticized the arrest campaigns targeting civilians in the town of Suwaysa.
The ministry also condemned the Israeli occupation's announcement to continue their illegal presence on Jabal Al-Sheikh (Mount Hermon) and within the buffer zone. It emphasized that these actions violate the United Nations Charter, international law, and relevant Security Council resolutions, posing a direct threat to regional peace and security.
The ministry has called upon the international community, especially the Security Council, to take urgent measures to halt these ongoing violations. It emphasized Syria's inalienable and legitimate right to defend its land and people by all means permitted by international law.
