Gaza: The Israeli occupation has postponed the release of the seventh batch of Palestinian prisoners due to objections regarding the release mechanism, as reported by a Palestinian source. The release, initially scheduled for early Sunday morning, has been put on hold indefinitely.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs stated that the release process is suspended until further notice. The Israeli authorities objected to the manner in which the prisoners were being released, insisting that it should occur without any form of "ceremony."
In a related development, Hamas has released six Israeli occupation prisoners, including two who had been detained for over a decade. This action is part of an agreement linked to a ceasefire deal.
