Israeli Occupation Bombs Church Sheltering Civilians in Gaza

Gaza city: The Israeli occupation targeted on Thursday a Catholic church sheltering many civilians who sought refuge to escape continuous bombardment on Gaza, reported the health authorities. Civil defense teams reported damage to the upper ceilings of the Latin Monastery, located east of Gaza City.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the church expressed, in a statement, deep sorrow over the bombing, affirming that the attack will not diminish the Christian community in Gaza's charitable and humanitarian work. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of civilians in conflict zones and the targeting of religious sites that serve as shelters.
