New delhi: India and South Korea held discussions on Thursday to deepen cooperation in various sectors, including economic, technology, defense, and maritime areas. Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar announced the talks through a statement on his official X account, emphasizing the countries' intent to expand people-to-people exchanges as well.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the meeting took place in New Delhi and involved a delegation of Special Envoys from South Korea, led by former Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyu. The discussions were part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the Special Strategic Partnership between the two nations. Minister Jaishankar expressed India's commitment to actively engage with South Korea's new administration to further enhance bilateral ties.
