Israeli Forces Conduct Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon

Beirut: The Israeli occupation forces carried out several airstrikes on southern towns and villages in Lebanon, an action that has further escalated tensions in the region. The official National News Agency (NNA) reported that the attacks on Thursday targeted multiple areas, including the village of Tair Debbah in the Tyre region, resulting in one person being wounded.

According to Kuwait News Agency, additional strikes were conducted on Aita Aljabal and Zawtar Alsharqiya, affecting houses and buildings. These airstrikes were accompanied by extensive aircraft overflights over several southern regions, including the skies over the capital Beirut, its southern suburbs, and the coastal Metn region, north of the city.

Meanwhile, Lebanese health authorities confirmed that one person died and eight others sustained injuries in an airstrike on the village of Toura. The repeated attacks by Israeli forces are seen as violations of the UN 1701 resolution, which calls for a cessation of hostilities in the region.
