Al-khalil: The Israeli occupation forces have arrested Tayseer Abu Sneineh, the head of Al-Khalil municipality, at his home located in the south of the West Bank. This arrest took place on Tuesday and was accompanied by damage to Abu Sneineh's residence.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the municipality issued a statement condemning the arrest. The statement described the incident as an attack on both the city of Al-Khalil and the dignity of the Palestinian people. It further emphasized the municipality's stance by holding the Israeli occupation accountable for any harm that may come to the detained official, asserting his legal rights to contest the arrest and any maltreatment endured.
The arrest of Abu Sneineh is part of a broader campaign by the Israeli occupation forces, which has thus far resulted in the apprehension of 15 individuals.
