Israeli Airstrike Claims 29 Lives in Gaza’s Shujaiya Neighborhood

Gaza City: At least 29 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli occupation airstrike on a residential block in the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza Strip, said health authorities on Wednesday.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the attacks resulted in the death of 29 Palestinians and several injuries, most of which are children and women, adding that the number of victims is expected to rise.

They added that a large number of martyrs and wounded were still under the rubble, and that most of the injuries arriving from the Shujaiya neighborhood were serious.

Eyewitnesses told KUNA that the occupation forces bombed eight adjacent houses that were subjected to intense fire in Shujaiya, adding that all of the houses were inhabited with more than 100 people, most of them are women, children, and the elderly.
