KUWAIT CITY: Iraq has extradited a fugitive convicted in 11 criminal cases to Kuwait, marking a significant achievement in international security cooperation. The arrest, announced by Kuwait's Ministry of Interior on Wednesday, was conducted in collaboration with Iraqi security authorities.
According to Kuwait News Agency, the Ministry of Interior's statement emphasized the arrest as a testament to the high level of security collaboration between Kuwait and Iraq. The ministry's Interpol Division had previously issued an international arrest warrant for the fugitive on December 4, 2023, which was circulated to all countries to facilitate his capture and extradition to Kuwait.
