Iraq chairs the second meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Planning Institute in Beirut

The work of the second meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Planning Institute began today, Thursday, in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

A statement by the Ministry of Planning stated: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning, Azhar Hussein Saleh, chaired the meeting in her capacity as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

In her speech, Saleh said: During the past three years, the institute was able to achieve tangible progress in its strategy for the period 2020-2025 by meeting the needs of member countries, and in line with current economic and political developments.

She reviewed the details of the training activities carried out by the Institute during these years and its readiness to issue the Arab Development Report, as well as its role in strengthening the principle of partnerships with local, Arab and international institutions, expressing its thanks and appreciation to the Arab delegations participating in the meeting.
