Iranian President Vows Strong Response to Israeli Airstrikes

Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that Iran's "robust and legitimate response" to Israeli airstrikes will leave the Israeli occupation regretting their actions. In a televised address on Friday, President Pezeshkian emphasized that both the citizens and leaders of Iran are committed to ensuring that the recent airstrikes do not go unpunished.

According to Kuwait News Agency, President Pezeshkian described the actions of the Israeli occupation as violations of international laws, highlighting what he termed the criminal nature of the Zionist entity. He further criticized the foundational principles of the Zionist entity, which he said are rooted in occupation, aggression, and the killing of children.

President Pezeshkian also reiterated Iran's willingness to engage in constructive dialogues with the international community to foster confidence and peace. However, he asserted that Iran must take decisive and legitimate actions to retaliate against the aggressors and safeguard its sovereignty.
