Iranian Officers Killed in Israeli Attacks; No Contamination at Fordow Facility

Tehran: The Iranian Armed Forces' General Staff announced the killing of its deputies for intelligence and operations in the Israeli occupation attacks. Iranian state television quoted the Communications and Information Center of the General Staff as saying that the Deputy Intelligence Officer of the Armed Forces' General Staff, Gholam Mehrabi, and the Deputy Operations Officer, Mehdi Rabbani, were killed in the attacks.

According to Kuwait News Agency, Iran also confirmed that limited damage was caused to some areas of the Fordow uranium enrichment facility, which was targeted in the Israeli attacks launched yesterday on various sites in Iran. However, it affirmed that no contamination had occurred. Iran's Atomic Energy Organization spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi was quoted as saying by Fars news agency that a large part of the equipment and materials had been previously moved out of the facility, resulting in no widespread damage and no concern about contamination.
