Tehran: Iranian Health Minister Mohammad Zafarghandi announced on Tuesday that 606 people have been killed and more than 5,000 others injured since the start of the Israeli occupation attacks on June 13.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Zafarghandi stated that "606 people have been killed since the start of the Israeli aggression, including 107 people killed and 1,342 others injured in the past 24 hours." He noted that 95 percent of the deceased perished under the rubble, with only 5 percent succumbing to their injuries after being transported to hospitals.
The ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israeli occupation forces came into effect on Tuesday morning, following an announcement by US President Donald Trump on Monday evening. Since June 13, Tehran and other Iranian cities have faced extensive attacks by Israeli occupation forces, to which Iran has responded with missile attacks on occupied territories.
