Kuwait City: The second round of "Indirect" talks with the US is scheduled to begin in Muscat, Oman, on April 19, Saturday, as announced by the Iranian Foreign Ministry. Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei confirmed the date and location in a statement to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), emphasizing the focus on Tehran's nuclear file.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Oman played a pivotal role in the first round of discussions by conveying both verbal and written messages between the Iranian and US delegations. In the previous talks held in Muscat, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff led their respective delegations. The upcoming discussions aim to continue the diplomatic engagement over Iran's nuclear program.
