The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed, on Monday, that the Iraqi government must adhere to its security commitments at the specified time.
“The details of the security agreement are clear,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani during the weekly press conference.
He added, “The Iraqi government has committed itself to disarming armed groups in Iraq, evacuating them from their existing military barracks, and transferring them to camps determined by the Iraqi government until September 19, 2023.”
