Kuwait City: Kamal Kharrazi, head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, announced that the nation is still open to indirect discussions with the United States regarding its nuclear file.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Kharrazi stated that Iran is prepared for indirect talks with the US, provided that the framework for such negotiations is established beforehand. He emphasized the necessity for the US to articulate its intentions clearly and highlighted the significance of maintaining mutual respect without resorting to "threats and pressure."
On March 12, Iran received a letter from US President Donald Trump, delivered via the UAE. The contents of the letter were not disclosed. US media reports indicated that on March 7, Trump addressed Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, suggesting that Iran engage in discussions for a new nuclear agreement.
