Iran and European Troika Agree to Resume Nuclear Negotiations

Tehran: Iran and the European troika, comprising the UK, France, and Germany, have reached an agreement to resume nuclear negotiations, as reported by Iran's Tasnim News Agency. The agreement has been made in principle, though discussions are still underway concerning the timing and location of the talks.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the upcoming nuclear discussions are set to take place at the level of the foreign ministers from Iran and the three European nations. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that new negotiations would only proceed if the other parties are prepared to pursue a fair, balanced, and mutual-based agreement.

The anticipated sixth round of talks between Tehran and the United States, initially planned through Omani mediators, was canceled following an unexpected attack by Israeli forces on Iran on June 13.
