Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said Monday his country supports any dialogue that could restore security and stability to Yemen. During his meeting with Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Yemen Hans Grundberg in Tehran, the Iranian minister affirmed backing for the UN-led efforts to extend the ceasefire in Yemen and restart the inter-Yemeni dialogue on a political settlement. On his part, Grundberg said the UN pursues the efforts to reach a negotiated settlement to the Yemeni political crisis, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s website.
