Development of the armed forces will be attainable through dependence on “our faithful children who are armed with science and knowledge,” said First Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Friday.
The minister, during an inspection of “Wajeb Force” (Sabah) for congratulations on Eid Al-Fitr, expressed satisfaction with capacities and vigilance of the personnel who have been executing their tasks in cooperation with the Interior Ministry personnel, safeguarding the the country’s security, the land and sea borders in the north.
He conveyed to the troops greetings from His Highness the Amir and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the eid occasion.
Their Highnesses the Amir and the Crown Prince admire the heroic role of the army troops for defending the homeland, its security, safety and territorial integrity, he said in his address to the forces.
He urged the troops to pursue their service for the homeland and wished return of the happy occasion under the sagacious leadership of His Highness the Amir and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and His Highness the Crown Prince.
