Information Minister Advocates for Initiatives to Bolster Domestic Tourism

Kuwait City: Minister of Information and Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi emphasized the importance of supporting initiatives and activities aimed at enhancing domestic tourism and strengthening the national economy. The minister made these remarks to KUNA during the inauguration of a scientific camping activity, an initiative endorsed by the standing committee of national occasions' celebrations under Al-Mutairi's patronage.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the activity is part of broader efforts to establish an educational and entertaining environment that aligns with the aspirations of families and youth. Al-Mutairi highlighted that this initiative offers a blend of enjoyment, exploration, and education, contributing to the rejuvenation of the tourism sector by facilitating outdoor activities in an attractive setting.

The camping event, scheduled to run until February 22, features participation from over 40 emerging Kuwaiti companies. It introduces 12 projects to the audience for the first time and showcases more than 25 technical talents, among others, creating a platform for innovation and interaction within the community.
