India and Georgia Explore Comprehensive Bilateral Partnership

Tbilisi: India and Georgia engaged in extensive discussions on Saturday, focusing on enhancing their bilateral relationship and addressing both regional and global issues.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the 8th India-Georgia Foreign Office Consultations, held in Tbilisi, provided a platform for both nations to review their entire spectrum of bilateral relations. This included political engagement, trade and economic cooperation, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people connections.

During the consultations, both sides deliberated on expanding cooperation into new areas and exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest. The Indian delegation was led by Secretary (West) at the Ministry of External Affairs, Sibi George, while Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, Alexander Khvitisiashvili, led the Georgian delegation in the talks.
