Vienna: India and Austria on Friday held talks on bilateral, regional, and global issues of mutual interest. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs announced that, as part of the 8th India-Austria Foreign Office Consultations in Vienna, the two sides conducted a comprehensive review of the entire gamut of bilateral relations. According to Kuwait News Agency, the discussions included an exchange of views on India-EU relations and key regional and global developments of mutual interest. The talks covered a wide range of areas, including political engagement, trade and economic cooperation, science and technology, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people ties. Additionally, cooperation between the two nations in international and multilateral fora was also a significant point of discussion. The Indian delegation was led by Secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs, Sibi George, while the Austrian side was led by Secretary General for Foreign Affairs, Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs , Nikolaus Marschik.
