HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Participates in 100 km International Endurance Race

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Captain of the Royal Endurance Team, took part in the 100 kilometre International Endurance Race, which is a segment of the His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Endurance Cup.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the cup is organized under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who serves as the Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. The event is managed by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF).

In attendance were His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the High Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. Also present were His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa emphasized the importance of endurance racing in elevating the profile of Bahraini equestrian sports, highlighting its role in fostering discipline and perseverance. He acknowledged the support from His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, which has been instrumental in enhancing the competitiveness and performance of Bahraini riders on both regional and international stages.

His Highness praised the wide participation in the championship and extended his best wishes to the riders set to compete in the Private Stables Race, which is scheduled for Saturday.

The championship will conclude with the 120 kilometre Private Stables Race for the His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Cup.
