Farwaniya: Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi inaugurated the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak Health Center in Farwaniya Governorate, a facility developed in collaboration with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare to cater to more than 30,000 residents.
According to Kuwait News Agency, Al-Awadhi stated in a press release post-inauguration that the center offers a comprehensive array of primary and specialized healthcare services. The facility includes clinics dedicated to chronic diseases, diabetes, pediatrics, elderly care, and maternity, alongside dental services. It is also equipped with supporting laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy services.
The health minister highlighted that the center features emergency rooms and provides essential administrative, sterilization, and nursing services. He noted that the facility is part of an advanced system designed with modern standards to ensure efficient patient flow and expedited entry and exit procedures.
Dr. Al-Awadhi emphasized the significance of this integrated primary healthcare system as a crucial element in alleviating the burden on hospitals. He also mentioned that additional health centers are planned for opening soon as part of the Ministry of Health's expansion strategy.
Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Al-Sabah remarked that the center is a valuable addition to the healthcare infrastructure in the area, which already includes two health centers. This initiative is part of the state's commitment, through the Ministry of Health, to delivering high-quality medical services to its citizens.
